The People of Truth’s internet effort started in the mid-1990s. At that time, the "state of the art" was the use of the various Bulletin Boards. We had a board on AOL, and while there, we were able to make contacts and experience great online fellowship. We maintained an open atmosphere where anyone could participate, even if they did not fully agree with our point of view. The AOL moderators decided that our size did not warrant our own bulletin board, and shut our board down, even though ours was as active as any other in the denominations category.

While we continued to be active on other boards, the creation of The Bible Guys newsletter gave us a ready source of content that could keep a web site "fresh" and allowed us to establish ThePeopleOfTruth.org (which was later shortened to tpot.org). For ten years we have been online, publishing the truth about God’s prophetic plan, and where we are on His timeline. During this time, we added Russian, Spanish, and Albanian versions; and through this "presence" on the Web, we have come into contact with ministers in the U.S., India, Mexico, and Kenya. We now continue to focus our efforts on the English and Spanish versions.

While our site has grown to over 400 articles, the technology of the Web has changed as well. In addition to offering static content, we also are able to provide dynamic, interactive content and social networking. In 2008, we started holynation.ning.com, with discussion forums allowing for the free exchange of biblical questions and answers and, largely through the efforts of Bro. Joel McNabb, giving the work more exposure on the international level.

In June of 2009, we started using Streaming Video, now broadcasting our regular services, as well as conducting live online Bible studies, where questions and comments can be submitted and answered in real time. We can also record content for later viewing. All of these programs are open to the public worldwide on http://www.blogtv.com/people/tpot-live.

Additionally, tpot.org is being upgraded, visually to fit in with the new sites, and technically to allow content to be added by the author, instead of having to be processed by a Web Editor. This is being done while preserving the rich content that documents the last ten years of fulfilling the word of God.
