Praise the Lord! This is the last issue of the 2002 calendar year, and what a year it has been! On the political scene, we have seen the establishment of the new Department of Homeland Security and the finalization of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives. Additionally, we have continued to observe the volatile situation in the Middle East and the United States' preparation for war with Iraq. The end-times world scene is shaping up very rapidly.
Meanwhile, here at The People of Truth, the Spirit of God has been heavy upon us, guiding us in an incredible way these last few months. By inspiration of God through His Word, we sent 10,000 letters to the leaders of the Churches of God, calling them to come and reason together as to the direction of the Elect of God today. Although none were able to attend the Thanksgiving Day meeting, we received a large amount of responses - both positive and negative - and have established solid contacts. As we continue to follow the Lord's leading, Prime Minister Eldon McNabb will meet with some of these saints starting the end of this month. This trip will take him to Indiana, Oklahoma, and Mississippi.
Things are moving along and God is preparing the scene for the return of His Son. Prophecy requires both the secular and the religious worlds be in a particular condition for that to happen. We must see the rise of the Beast, and the perfecting of God's Elect. We live in, arguably, the most exciting time in the history of the world. Christ is coming soon! May God grant the Bride to make herself ready!
On another note, the 2003 Strangers & Pilgrims Calendars will be ready for shipment. An order form is enclosed in this issue. The theme this year is Elijah versus the prophets of Baal. As in previous years, the calendars are available for $7.50, which covers the cost of printing and shipping. Please get your orders in quickly.
Also, dear friends, it is our pleasure to share with you the good things of God. We are thankful to the Lord that we are able to offer The Bible Guys without cost to our subscribers. We don't even ask for donations, allowing God to move on individual's hearts to give when He so desires. One request I do want to make, however, is that you inform us of any change in your address. When you move, if you do not tell us, the Post Office sends us your new address and charges us 70? for each correction. To avoid this added cost, simply call, write or e-mail us with your new address as soon as possible. Thank you.
God bless you all friends, brothers and sisters! See you again in 2003!
