Praise the Lord of heaven and earth!
We were so richly blessed on our visit to Trichur, Kerala, in southern India. We finally got to meet the saints there, and were very blessed by their devotion and sincerity. Bro. Eldon and I stayed at the home of Bro. Philip Thomas and enjoyed the many hours in fellowship in the Word and with one another. (We even had the opportunity to wear sandals and eat with our hands.) The bond we share with these precious brethren is beyond words. Bro. Philip is planning to come later this year, Lord willing, and share with us here in the United States.
Shortly after returning home, Bro. Eldon and Sis. Zena McNabb left for a couple of weeks to visit other saints in Kentucky, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Indiana. They returned with great joy, having seen the hand of God on the trip, and finding the fields ready to harvest. They met brethren all along their trip that love the Lord and are pursuing His will.
There has been a change in the wind, as it were, and we are expecting God to move mightily in our midst this year. We are coming up on the Feast of Passover. We will be observing the Lord's Supper on Sunday, April 16th. This is a time to remember the suffering our Lord endured to purchase our redemption. What a wonderful Savior! Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe; Sin had left crimson stain, He washed it white as snow.
About 50 days later, June 1-4, we will be observing the Feast of Pentecost. We are looking forward to having some of you with us during this celebration. The time is entirely dedicated to God, and we always have wonderful worship services and Bible studies during this God-ordained Feast. If you can at all, we welcome your attendance. Please call us, so that we can help with any arrangements that need to be made.
God is moving, and I am excited. Continue to pray for us, and for all of the saints here in America, and abroad. As God continues to lift up His people, the enemy will be more and more determined to stop us at all costs.
Have you learned to trust Him - I mean really, really trust Him? We like to think we trust Him, but, when times grow tough, we look to the heavens and ask, "Why are you doing this to me, Lord?" The Lord is sovereign, and He has never lost control. He was in control in heaven before, during, and after Lucifer's insurrection. He was in control before, during, and after Adam and Eve's disobedience. And He is in control now. Trust Him.
By God's grace, we shall endure unto the coming of our Lord. And we shall not only endure, but we shall triumph in Christ, for the Lord is our rock, and our fortress, and our deliverer; The God of our rock; in him will we trust: he is our shield, and the horn of our salvation, our high tower, and our refuge, our saviour; that saves us from violence. Let us call on the Lord, who is worthy to be praised: so shall we be saved from our enemies!
