Much is going on right now. September has been full of excitement for us at the People of Truth. God has been blessing our services greatly and has also been blessing the works of our hands.

First and foremost, we are preparing for next month’s observance of the Feast of Ingathering – the Jews’ Feast of Tabernacles. From Thursday, Oct. 12 through Sunday, Oct. 15, we will keep the Lord’s feast with revival-type services, lifting up the name of the Lord in song, worship, prayer and praise.

Inspiring sermons and exhortations from Pastor Eldon McNabb, and the rest of the Bible Guys will be featured throughout the Feast. We are all expecting a powerful presence of God as we enter His gates with thanksgiving and hear His word from the Pastor and other ministers of the Gospel.

Also, in-depth Bible Seminars will be conducted Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. with a break for fellowship and lunch at noon. As has been our experience, these sessions each Feast have been a wonderful opportunity to glean new biblical understanding. It is a marvelous time of spiritual renewal, for the Bible says that the new man "is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." (Col. 3:10)

In addition, we are continuing to modify and improve the property of our Tabernacle. Our building is really two – a sanctuary and an administration building, connected by a corridor. Previously a nursing home, we completely remodeled the section that now houses our sanctuary. Recently, we began the task of redoing the front structure to house offices and meeting rooms. In the process, it was determined that the poorly conceived and run-down connector needed to be either entirely overhauled or eliminated. We are doing the latter, permanently separating the two structures. Many have pitched in to help with the work, and we are grateful. We would like to especially thank Daniel and Edlir Lapa, newly relocated here from Dallas, Texas, for the many hours that they have assisted Pastor McNabb in this project. The Pastor himself, as always, has spent much time and energy on this job, and words cannot express the value of his efforts.

In front of the building, Bro. David Allen has planted two new trees, which will further enhance the look of the property.

Sometime, in between church, his regular job, his family time, helping during the modifications to the building and the standard maintenance of our website, Bro. Larry Danko has learned how to create Russian web pages and you will soon be able to view our site in Russian, in addition to English, Spanish and Albanian.

Our congratulations also to Bro. Larry on his new chariot, which joined our fleet of lettered cars on Sept. 16.

God bless you all, and see you at the Feast!
