God bless you! We are now approaching the end of Winter, and are at the threshold of Spring. The "treasures of ice and snow" melt, giving way to brilliant colors. I thank God for the opportunity I have to live in New England, where we are truly blessed to enjoy each season to its fullness. I look forward to each one and give God the glory, for everything is beautiful in its time.

One of the most important events throughout the whole history of mankind occurred in the Spring. God told the Israelites that Abib – which approximately corresponds to the English month of April – was to be "the beginning of months" unto them: the first month of the year. The fourteenth day of Abib was the Passover.

It was on the day of Passover that they slew a lamb and applied the blood to the mantle and door posts of their houses. When the angel of God saw the blood, he "passed over" that house. The Jews were commanded to observe this feast throughout all their generations as a memorial.

Nearly two thousand years ago, God, Himself, kept this great feast. He offered the greatest Passover Lamb of all – His only Son, Jesus. That Passover changed the course of history forever.

Today, if we apply that Lamb’s blood to the door-posts and mantle of our hearts, death loses its ultimate power over us and we are promised life eternal. To Him who sits on the throne and unto the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and power for ever and ever!

We will observe the Feast of Passover and take the Lord’s Supper on April 8th at 10:00 a.m. at our Worship Center, Source of Light Tabernacle. All who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, being born again by the Spirit of God, are welcome to partake of the Lord’s Supper with us as we "remember His death, till He come." Be sure to examine yourself, that you eat and drink worthily, discerning the Lord’s body. "For if we judge ourselves, we should not be judged." (1 Cor. 11:17-34)

This year, our Feast of Pentecost coincides with Memorial Day weekend. Our services will be held from Thursday, May 24 through Sunday, May 27. We invite all to join in with us during this festival, as we worship God and learn about Him through His word. Thursday, Friday and Saturday we will gather nightly at 7:30 p.m. and again on Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. for worship services. Each service will feature different speakers. Friday and Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Pastor McNabb will conduct a Bible seminar.

Please contact us if you wish to attend or if you need further information. We hope you will come and be edified by God’s word and the power of praise.
