Oklahoma Update

By Letha Ketcherside

Greetings from Tulsa, Oklahoma, where we are enjoying the blessings from God with Pastor Joel McNabb and Bro. Randy Ketcherside ministering to us each week.   Bro. Joel got a job very soon after he arrived here, and his experiences at work have been a continual blessing.  Bro. Randy also recently started a new job, and because of their schedules, both of these brethren are able to devote much needed time to the work of God, for which we are very thankful.

We continue to enjoy our weekly Bible studies with the Saints in South Hadley, MA and Orlando, FL via conference phone.  These meetings have been further enhanced with the addition of video by way of webcams and Microsoft Live™ Messenger.  Thank God for this modern technology which allows us to feel as though we are in the same room, even though we are half a country away from each other.

As we were beginning to enjoy the video conferencing, Randy’s mother, Sis. Imogene Ketcherside,  joined us once again before she moved from Grand Lake, OK to Bakersfield, CA.  She is now sharing her time with her daughter and son-in-law, Lynn & Doug Adams and their family there. She is an inspiration to all of us with her wit and wisdom.  We cherish the wonderful memories we have made, and will miss having her around.  We wish her much happiness and ask God to bless and keep her, and bring us together again soon.

Pastor Joel McNabb is planning to be at the Feast of Ingathering next month, and, while the rest of us here desire to join him, we will be going along with him in spirit.

The words of David ring true, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” (Ps 133:1).  Thank you all for your prayers and support as we continue in God’s work.  God bless you all.
