Greetings in the name of the Lord and our Saviour Jesus Christ.

It is with great pleasure that I can come to you each month here in the pages of this publication. This month marks our 6th anniversary. For six years, we have faithfully shared with you, dear friends, those things that the Lord has graciously given unto us. As I go over the archives, I am astonished at the variety of things which have been written.

The Bible Guys has grown from a circulation of about 25 in 1998 to 750 today, with over 600 on the mailing list alone. I am often told how much this ministry is appreciated. I cannot express how much of a blessing it is for me to do a work for God, with a goal to inspire and inform, knowing that if even one person develops a deeper relationship with God, the effort was not in vain.

Our readership includes a wide variety of people: both of believers and non-believers. Christians of many denominations receive this publication every month, and I am sure that many have disagreed with certain points over the years. However, I am grateful that, especially with out presence on the Internet, any article of The Bible Guys can be taken in the context of 72 months of writing, offering a fairly inclusive cross-section of our teaching.

The Word of God, for me, is new everyday. Although there are things that are fundamental, and vitally important to even begin a walk with God, the born-again believer should be like a growing child: always asking questions, always building on his knowledge and understanding. Every time I study, whether alone or in a group, new things are opened to me - even in passages I have read many times. With each new understanding, other parts of the Bible become even clearer, yielding up the multifaceted depths they have hidden for millennia.

This is my prayer for The Bible Guys, and for you, the Reader. Even if you find a point on which we seem to disagree, I hope that it would cause you to take out God?s holy word and study. Consider the things that have been said, and ask the Lord to give you a greater understanding of His word. That is certainly what I do when I hear a preacher say something I never heard before, and with which I maybe even disagree. If we all get our noses in the Book, we shall surely achieve one of the greatest goals God has for His people: that we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

I truly thank God for this opportunity to serve Him in this work, and pray that He is glorified as we continue laboring for Him.

Friends, we will be celebrating the Feast of Ingathering Sept. 30 through Oct. 3. You are welcome to fellowship with us throughout this weekend dedicated to the Lord. Make plans to be here for a great revival, and a deeper pursuit of the things of God. Please contact us for further information.

May God richly bless you.
